A RSS worker was hacked to death, allegedly by CPM workers with the help of Jihadis at Nenmeni in the temple town this afternoon (12-11-2017), as reports came in. The victim, Anandan, (26), was riding a motorcycle when he was attacked by the CPM workers in a car. Though he was rushed to hospital, his life could not be saved, police said.
Anandan, hailing from Brahmakulam, was an accused in a case relating to the murder of a CPM worker in 2013.
BJP has alleged that as many as 120 RSS and BJP workers, 84 in Kannur alone, have been killed in Kerala since 2001. It has claimed that 14 of these killings have taken place since Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan took over the reins of the government last year.
The CPM has in turn, accused BJP and RSS of resorting to violence and denied the involvement of its government and leadership in political killings.
Haindava Keralam a Hindu News-Views portal reports from Thrissur:
Yet another RSS Karyakarta succumbs to the violent Communists- Jihadi nexus. Anand, native of Nenmenikkara was hacked to death by a gang of Communist hoodlums in the afternoon, after being chased by them. Responding to the crime, BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan has flayed the Marxists for still adhering to their violent stand. A hartal has been called for in Guruvayur on Monday.
Anand was hit by the marauders’ vehicle, following which he was flung to the ground from his bike. The gruesome murder was committed thereafter. He died on the spot.
BJP National President Amit Shah also condemned the brutal murder of Anandan.
